  2. Please let me know if you find out what kind of spider this one is. I killed one that looked like this in my living room Thursday. It scared the heck out of me due to it's size and due to the fact that it was in my house.

  4. Definitely a wolf spider. Banana is about twice the size of this with a waxy finish to the elongated body, which typically has splashes of yellow.

I say splashes, they could be stripes; I try not to get close enough to decipher!

  5. Great spider...I posted a photo of similiar looking spider back in June...was on my kitchen floor and it posed on a 3 inch section of wood so I know exactly how large it was, I didn't know what kind it was though, I've never seen one like that before???

I'm not afraid of spiders but this one actually startled be because it was so large!!!

    Cheers

  6. Oh goodness I don't like spiders! Eeek! I hope you are having a good summer as schools may be soon resuming for many in the next few weeks. I know it has been a while since I have commented, but that does not mean I have not been getting updates. Please do enjoy the rest of your weekend...keep on writing!
