Blogs with Adventurous or Fearless Spirits

By chance or by fortune I recently stumbled upon a few blogs that truly captivated me. Some of these blogs reveal the adventurous experiences of the writers who are living life without much disguise or fear. Others describe bloggers who live and write about their lives, lives which may appear plain and simple but are not by any means. Perhaps I am drawn to these because of my own dreams and desires, or because I relate to their stories, tales, and photos which bring me closer to a place where I want to be or have been. Most importantly, I admire their transparency, directness, sense of humor and above all wisdom. The "real world" does not always promote, understand or allow for such things. Ironically, it is in the "blogger world" where we can express our true thoughts and still maintain a sense of safety and anonymity.

Live and write fearlessly...so that we, the hungry spectators can feed and grow.

*If you know of other "fearless bloggers", please leave a comment and link. *

  1. Thanks so much! I get a tad too wrapped up in "business" and forget to stop and smell the roses. This is what I needed at the end of a long (but very good) day.

  2. What a fantastic thing to do for a post! My site tends to the impersonal, but there's so much to be learned from people freely expressing where they are from that actual place.

This is a fantastic site, and, with your permission, I'd love to reference and put a link to this post into an article on Axis Mundi. (May I?)

  3. Just wanted to pop over to say Hi and to thank you for your comments on my blog Reality Misspelled. I loved the poem, thank you for showing it to me. I also loved the picture of your dreams. There is something mysterious about it. It is like a call of the wild...

I too enjoyed reading Web of Whispers. The site was very different, authentic and soothing--The colors, the words and the feeling drew me in and I "will" go back. This blogger has that subtle transparent fearlessness I write about sometimes.

  5. Hi Diane
I am always glad to hear from you. These bloggers really take me away to foreign but interesting places. I too do not want my life to be all work. Actually I want my work to never be work, so I always look for what I love to do and would do anyway, "with or without pay." --Though pay is good, don't get me wrong. :)

The art work you display on your blogs surely seems the creation of one who is "fearless." Thanks for stopping by and leaving your prints.

  12. Hmmm...I am ill-mannered! I thanked you at blogcatalog but forgot, until now, to thank you here.
I appreciate the mention and think it's fun that you reach out to people like you do. So, what is your own fearless spirit striving toward?

  13. Answer...to do "great things" everyday of my life whether it is at home, in the classroom or at the grocery store. My fearless spirit says I am going to enjoy every moment of my day, even those yukky ones, and I am going to give and love those around me. I am even going to have patience and empathy for those who drive me crazy. :)

I am also a country girl stuck in the city, so I am working on changing that... Sound familiar?

For more details check out the group discussion on BC called 10,000 ways that don't work. I tend to spill my heart out there...

  14. Well, I've been told that my blog is fearless, and has "tell-all honesty." Not sure that it is fearless, but it is definitely honest about many taboo topics such as sex and religion. I use it as a way to channel my personal growth, so I must address issues that we are all faced with even if we don't always discuss them.

I love that you are bringing to light some of us underdogs with a message!
