Movie Meme

Well, how about a movie meme? I read Jessica's meme at Thoughtful Reflections and thought now that I am on vacation all summer and with a great deal of "delightful time off," I would give it try.

1. One movie that made you laugh: The Money Pit with Tom Hanks

2. One movie that made you cry: Secondhand Lions with Robert Duval

3. One movie you loved when you were a child: Wizard of Oz with Judy Garland

4. One movie you've seen more than once: Matrix (all three) with Keanu Reeves

5. One movie you loved, but were embarrassed to admit it: Disney's Mulan (not really embarrassed to admit it but considering it is a cartoon...)

6. One movie you hated: Dumb and Dumber (can't remember the actors; that's how much I hated it)

7. One movie that scared you: The Exorcist with Lind Blair

8. One movie that bored you: None (I don't watch boring movies)

9. One movie that made you happy: Under the Tuscan Sun

10. One movie that made you miserable: Braveheart with Mel Gibson (loved the film but the ending made me very miserable)

11. One movie you thought would be great, but it wasn’t: Superman Returns

12. One movie you weren't brave enough to see: Saving Private Ryan with Tom Hanks (I am not always "fearless" for I am human.)

13. One movie character you've fallen in love with: Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights (my favorite book, favorite movie and favorite characters)

  4. I have the same movie in mind in the horror category. Another one I somehow never get tired of watching is the Sound of Music...loved it as a child and still do even now. Thanks for the drop.

  7. Was just catching up on some of your posts. Found it interesting we liked/disliked/cried over, etc. MANY of the same movies. How fun!

  8. With the sophistication of the animation and the worldly humour of the dialogue, I hardly think cartoon movies nowadays are catered solely for children. Many of my favourite movies are cartoons too (Beauty and the Beast is still one of my favourite), because I have always admired the creativity and the humour of the storyline, the ingenuity of the life-like animation, that and the fact that I've got two young children to dictate my selection of movies. :)
