Meme: Passion Quilt

As a writing teacher of course I want my students, my children and all children, to become better writers, express themselves clearly, use correct grammar and punctuation, but my greatest desire is for all humanity to seek and nourish the greatness within themselves as they journey through their lives. Every time a former student achieves, we all achieve. Every time our child achieves, we all achieve. Every time our students accomplish what others think cannot be done, we all win. I am passionate about success even when decorated by failure. I am passionate about the human spirit that says it will not give up; it will not run and will not stop until it has achieved "the dream."

These are photos of some of "The Dreamers" who worked hard on the field or in the classroom, achieved and celebrated their victories. I am proud and blessed to have known them all.

2nd Place Champions, 1st season together...many believed it could not be done. It was done!

I was tagged for this teaching meme by Geoffrey Philp and these are the rules:

Post a picture or make/take/create your own that captures what YOU are most passionate for students to learn about.
Give your picture a short title.

    What a wonderful, inspirational post.
While I don't always comment on your posts, I read every one and find such depth of thought in your writing. I never leave here without feeling a little more inspired and a little more enriched.
Thank you for all of your positive affirmations. You help us to be better just as you have helped your students.

What could be better or feel better than serving others with love and understanding. In the end, all the goodness we send out into the world is returned two-fold. :)
