Funny, I just left and already they call me home again. :)

  7. Yes, Juliette
Western North Carolina is an amazing place and it is very tranquil. The area has beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and great friendly people. No one is in a hurry and the air is fresh and clean. It is my home away from home, my Heaven on Earth.

  8. Well Analyst
I actually live in Florida most of the year though we do have a vacation property in the Carolinas that will become our retirement home in a few years. These photos are from our property or nearby areas. It is truly a magical place, a healing place. Living in the desert sounds interesting too. I know that O'Keefe loved the desert and the mountains in New Mexico and the surrounding areas. My family and I hope to one day travel west and enjoy that part of the country too. Thanks for stopping by.

  9. Very nice photos. My son and his family live in Lynchburg. We love to take walks up through the mountains.

And, of course, take pictures too.
